Simply Red announced the release of their thirteenth studio album, Time, on 26 May 2023.

The first unveiled track from the album is “Earth in a Lonely Space”, which was already released as a single on 18 May 2021.
The lead single, “Better with You”, was released on 2 March 2023, accompanying the album’s official announcement.
Although the band’s long-time keyboardist Dave Clayton has recorded some parts for Time and played on “Better with You” with Simply Red during the final shows of 2022, Clayton  leave the group after almost 20 years.
In the months leading up to the release of the Time album, Simply Red have released two further singles – “Shades 22” and “Just Like You” In addition, the band announced an intimate album launch show 2024-2025

The British soul band, consists of thirteen studio albums, six compilation albums, one extended play, fifty-three singles.

The band’s first single “Money’s Too Tight (To Mention)”, was released in 1985.
Their debut album, Picture Book, was also released in 1985.
The following year the band released “Holding Back the Years”.
Album, Men and Women was released in 1987 containing the self titled single.
A New Flame came in 1989, containing “If You Don’t Know Me by Now”.
1991’s album Stars, became the best-selling album.
Simply Red released “Fairground” in 1995, which became the band’s first UK number one single. Its parent album was Life.
The band followed this up with cover heavy Blue in 1998 and Love and the Russian Winter in 1999.
Subsequent releases included Home in 2003, Simplified in 2005, and Stay, which was the band’s tenth studio album released in 2007.

Mick Hucknall announced his intention to split the band in 2010; following on a farewell tour which commenced during 2009 and 2010.
The band re-formed in 2015.
